את רוב שנותיו לימודיו בישיבה עשה בירוחם אצל מו"ר הרב בלומנצויג, אולם גם בישיבת אלון מורה וגם בכולל רבנים רצון יהודה, בה זכה ללמוד מפי מו"ר הרה"ג יעקב אריאל.
