time

Rabbis are very busy and especially Barkai Rabbis. In addition to their jobs in their communities, they all have other jobs that they need to do in order to provide for their families. BecaUse of the pressure that is placed upon them they need to know how to best correctly manage their time. Very often time management can determine whether a rabbi will succeed or fail. Because of the importance of this skill, the Barkai Center recently dedicated an entire day of study of the cohort 3 rabbis to time management. Dani Blondheim, an organizational consultant with expertise in management instruction conducted the training. He believes in a practical approach and espouses a connection between experiential learning and living in the real, everyday world. At the end of the training one of the rabbis said: " This day was one of the most important days in the entire two years of Barkai. I really believe that I will be able to actualize the skills that we were taught today in order to better manage my time."
